This book is extremely user friendly. I've begun to work with it by completing the assignments, being guided from step to step. Terrific help also offered through their web site. So far so good! Recommend this book to anyone interested in learning the fundamentals of Microsoft Office 2007.

This looked a bit worn, and the first pages were ripping out, but it was great! And for the price I wouldn't have done it any other way. I have since given it to another person who again, loved it! Great learning book. Step by step basics for those just starting out!

Good pick but no disc! / / 2010-08-20
Overall I was pleased about my purchase. The book came ahead of time, which was a big plus for me and it was in new condition... The only complaint I have is that I assumed that since the book was stated to be in "new condition" that the CD that comes with the book would have been included in the book! The least the seller of the book coould have done was say that this book does not include the CD.

The whole point of the Shelly cashman series which all of the reviewers seem to miss is quite obvious -- its the same for every Shelly Cashman book ___PICTURES. Books on Office from Microsoft miss the point by bogging readers down in writing about how to do something. SHELLY CASHMAN SHOWS you important techniques with few words and mostly pictures -- that is the whole series in a nutshell. Most of the people who use these books arent very bright so a smart motivated person who does use them can learn many concepts quickly. Even the slowest user can learn from this book. If you cant you had better forget your computer and take up typing!

Most writers about computer subjects have no clue about how to present material so it is instantly comprehensible -- Shelly has grasped the obvious which is missed by 99% of computer book publishers, esp Microsoft who should know better!

this product was in good condition and is what they say it is, however it was a spiral back and not a regular glued back book. all the pages where there along with the cd. would do business again.
